Additionally, Luxwood panels have an FR30 fire rating, making them nearly fireproof, and have been internationally recognised with certifications such as the Australian and New Zealand CodeMark, Agrément certification in South Africa, and ICC NTA approval for use in the United States. In 2017, Luxwood was awarded the prestigious Australian and New Zealand CodeMark certification. ICC NTA TEST REPORT

United States of America

In 2023, the Luxwood Composite panel successfully passed ICC NTA testing to gain recognition as a structural building material in the United States. This certification was a key step in enabling Luxwood to enter the U.S. market, ensuring that its innovative building system meets the stringent structural and safety requirements necessary for construction in the region. By achieving this milestone, Luxwood has positioned itself to deliver durable, high-performance building solutions within the U.S.

AGREMENT

South Africa

In December 2016, Luxwood made its entry into the South African market by receiving its Agrément certificate. This certification marked the beginning of Luxwood’s international expansion, showcasing the company's commitment to providing high-quality, durable, and innovative building solutions. The certification opened doors for Luxwood to deliver its unique building systems to a broader market, further reinforcing its position as a trusted provider of sustainable and resilient construction materials.

FIRE TEST

Luxwood offers exceptional fireproof housing solutions, ideal for the Australian environment. With an FR30 fire rating, Luxwood panels have been rigorously tested, enduring up to 5 hours of fire exposure without any issues. Demonstrations using a blow torch have shown no flame propagation or heat transfer through the panel, thanks to its unique material composition, which effectively makes it fireproof. MAGNITUDE 9.0

The Luxwood Building System has undergone rigorous testing for earthquake resistance, including a simulation of a magnitude 9.0 earthquake with 42 shakes over a 4-hour period. THERMAL ASSESSMENT

The Luxwood Building System is designed to deliver exceptional energy efficiency, with a tested R-value of 10, as verified in a report by Graeme Moulston Engineering Pty Ltd. This high R-value demonstrates the system's superior insulation capabilities, effectively minimising heat transfer and helping to maintain comfortable indoor temperatures while reducing the need for excessive heating and cooling. By incorporating advanced materials and sustainable practices, Luxwood provides a building solution that enhances energy efficiency and aligns with environmentally friendly construction standards. Luxwood’s acoustics were also assessed and it was found that the system achieves a sound reduction of 55 decibels of weighted sound. LUXWOOD Composite Panel Sustainability Review

According to the 2017 Cundall Sustainability Review, the Luxwood Composite Panel is an eco-friendly building solution made from 90% post-industrial recycled materials, including fly ash and uPVC. It is designed for long-term sustainability, offering a low-energy installation process and minimal maintenance, with the added benefit of being fully recyclable at the end of its life cycle. Compared to traditional materials like brick, concrete, and timber, Luxwood panels deliver superior environmental performance, making them an ideal choice for modern, sustainable construction projects.
